Board of Directors

This group of individuals comes to Steps of Purpose seasoned in business and community service. They bring a broad range of talent and experience which will be instrumental in making Steps of Purpose a success.

Angie Page, Board Member

Ms. Angie Page began her career as Judicial Administrative Technician for Cobb County Probate Court in Marietta, Georgia for 4 years and moved on to Front Desk Administrator for Traton Homes. She brings to Steps of Purpose outstanding skills in customer service, data entry, application processing, filing, scheduling, switchboard operations and monetary transactions.


Destiny Jones, Board Member

Ms. Destiny Jones comes to Steps of Purpose as an active community service leader and volunteer. During her time at Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia and Columbus High School in Columbus, Mississippi. Ms. Jones has become a member of Delta Gem, Red Cross, JAM, Junior Achievement at Biztown and Café 458. Through her community service, Ms. Jones has helped the elderly, packed clothing, handled donations, done motivational speaking, taught school children the fundamentals of time management and savings as well as served food to the homeless and assisted with luncheons.


Noadiah & Jordan Shambry, Board Members

Noadiah and Jordan Shambry are high school students at Woodstock and Alpharetta High School where they are involved in this program and athletic sports, but at this time their bios are not available.


Jennifer Smith, Board Member

Jennifer Smith has a Master’s of Science in Human Environmental Science from the University of Alabama and a Bachelors of Arts with a Specialty in Psychology from the University of Alabama. She brings a great deal of experience in psychology, time management, human resources, payroll, operations, and personnel acquisition/training and maintaining. In the past 10 years, Smith has worked for firms such as Winn-Dixie, and Indian Rivers Mental Health Center. While at Indian Rivers Mental Health Center, Smith has worked within several departments including the Indigent Drug Program as a Case Manager. Here she assisted consumers in applying for pharmaceutical company patient assistance programs and organized and maintained membership programs. In 2006 she moved into an administrative position as a Clinical Assistant. While in this position, Smith honed her skills in project and time management. In 2007 till present, Smith has worked as both a Payroll Assistant and is now a Payroll Specialist. She has gained experience in employment compliance and practices, payroll creation and implementation, retirement programs, State and Federal employment needs, Insurance and Benefits information. In addition, she has gained a great deal of experience in hiring, firing and training staff.


Tamica Shambly, Board Member

Ms. Tamica Shambly has a Master’s of Arts in Communication and Information Science as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication and Information Science from the University of Alabama. Ms. Shambly began her career as an Assistant for First Scholars Program and then went on to work for FIS advancing from a Customer Service Representative III/Line Trainer to Team Lead/Quality Auditor and currently holds the title of Call Center Supervisor. Through her more than 4 years of business experience she has gained skills such as planning, mentoring, training, reporting, customer service and sales.
